Not everyone gets pooped on by pigeons every day. I am one of the few who has not gone through the traumatic experience, only one to witness it.. several times. Afterwards I feel like how C felt in A Bronx Tale when he realized Sonny saved his life from taking him out of the car with his friends. Totally different scenario, but I feel lucky. Had I moved over a couple inches, I would have been the target.
Off topic. Okay. Inspiration hits as randomly as the situation portrayed in the title of this post. Some find it with every step they take, others must search under rocks. It is different for everyone. Honestly, I feel like it has nothing to do whether or not you are artistically minded. It might help. If you just look hard enough around you and learn to appreciate everything for what it is you will find it.
Now for the reason behind this inspiration topic, emails. I have recieved several throughout the past months and loads in the past three weeks asking me how I get ideas. The equation is (percieve + analyze)/(appreciation) = inspiration. Haha. Truthfully it is. If you can do the first two and appreciate everything for its unique state then you will be fine. It is a skill that you must perfect but worth it.
