Proudly from Boston but attending London College of Fashion in England. Decided to take an adventure. After this year though, my ♥ is set on the continuation of a bachelors in Fashion Design back in the USA. The art world is all about impressing, so I intend to win over the heart of the fashion industry and have them head over heels. Yep I have big dreams, but honey it is a BIG world out there.

Images used are from the Sessilee Lopez fan page on Facebook, personal scans from Latina Magazine and Google images. Textures, patterns and coding were created by me. Programs used include Adobe Photoshop CS2 and CS4, Notepad and Paint. The color scheme is aqua, hot pink, lime green, yellow, orange, peach and purple on grayscale. I’m unsure as to what Marc Jacobs has not gotten his hands on to design now. Hmm maybe Vodka? I know that Roberto Cavalli is the only designer to do that one so far… Anyways, Jacobs just designed this “Hands” skateboard deck with an all-over graphic on one side and his label’s signature on the other. It is exclusively available at Marc by Marc Jacobs stores and looks even lovelier in person. Trust.

Summer hasn’t even started for me but anyone who knows a lick about fashion knows that the Fall/Winter 2010 previews of near every collection are dropping daily. This brings me to the awesomeness that is Canada Goose!! I just spotted the collection for this upcoming Fall and have decided the $700+ price tag is worth it. It will have to be a small from the men’s collection because guys tend to get the good shiet sometimes. No fair. Personally, I’m getting too tired of the North Face and fall/winter coats you can get at the mall so it is time to change it up. Once September comes, hopefully The Tannery website or the location in Harvard Square gets them in by then because I will be putting money aside this summer for one of these bad boys.

Okay, so everyone has probably heard of Nicki Minaj by now and every now and then the girl is accused of swagger jackin’ Lil Kim. However, the entire Harajuku Barbie look that Nicki Minaj has enveloped has always been awfully similar to Tokyo Diva who is also of New York – Queens to be exact and has been doing it a lot longer than Nicki Minaj appeared on the scene and then switched up to her current Barbie look. Poor Tok-Tok, she is not given enough credit.
