¡Que viva España – la furia roja! R.I.P. to la naranja mecánica

Congrats go out to Spain! The video above is a short and sweet highlight clip of the game and postgame when Iker Casillas kisses his reporter girlfriend. Hmm he was over-the-top emotional on the field with that crying so who can blame him?
And I have a couple of friends there (some who study there, others who are from and live there) and two in the Netherlands (plus one Dutch friend who WENT to the final game in Johannesburg too grrr!) who told me it was nuts all around!! Barcelona and Madrid went crazy and “orange fever” caught the best of Amsterdam. Sounded so amazing from their descriptions. JEALOUS! But even though Holland lost, can’t they just roll one up and smoke in Amsterdam? Haha.
Anywho the game was not as intense as I hoped. From the first 15 minutes I immediately thought that it would go into penalty kicks because neither team was trying to lose with their hardcore defense, especially Holland!! They had the best defense in this World Cup in my opinion. Anyways. It is all wrapped up and now onto some English futbol to keep me entertained until national teams start playing again. First game – Italy v. Ivory Coast in October in London. Too far away!

YES! DJ Earworm does it again with a summer mash up that is still on the level of amazingness of his 2009 year round up, “United State of Pop“. This one does have a lot more UK based artists though because it was created for a radio station’s summer concert. I recognize the songs and such having lived in London for the past year, but if you are from the U.S. or someplace else it might be hard to place your finger on the videos and artists.

M.I.A. is dropping Maya soon in July and this is her latest single off of the album, entitled “Haters“. It addresses many issues that are continually brought up in modern day politics. This is not a party record like the singles beforehand that blew up her celebrity thanks to Pineapple Express, so if you are not into more mellow songs or not a true M.I.A. fan then this is not for you. Personally, I love it.

Too lazy to do daily updates right now. Life is a blur. Been busy trying to literally organize my life, but into suitcases. In three weeks, I will be saying goodbye to London town for a good long time. Definetely not coming back next year to continue studying fashion. If anything a trip here would be for a visit! 
But yes, yes. I am in a really big designing mood but am not sure how to utilize for the site. So many nooks and crannies need updating that it is kind of intimidating when I attempt to start that… end up wandering doing things like this Beyonce in Telephone blend.
BTW – The hosting site is almost up. I need to design a layout and link a new paypal account to it and it will be all set in three weeks. There are already about 10 subdomains already set up under oh-word.com. Email me if you want one asap!

So I kind of went on vacationnn? Left the world for three weeks basically. Even when I left London for Boston, very little people knew I was in town for three days then going to Guatemala for Semana Santa. Holy Week was great and I will get back to posting tomorrow or Saturday. Below is a picture summary of my trip.
