The world is watching Demrosch Park as New York Fashion Week is preparing to unveil its new location for the next five years. The space is 25 percent larger than Bryant Park but the move is still dramatic. Since 1993, Bryant Park has become synonymous with fashion. It also cradled New York’s fashion world, starting out at 35 shows and moving onto roughly 70 shows per season and welcoming 250 of New York’s designers. As of next season we will see how the adaption goes. Tomorrow New York kicks off the start of Fall/Winter 2010 collections for their last time at Bryant Park with Paris concluding the festivites with their fashion week on March 10th.

A usual highlight are the Superbowl ads, but this year. I was not amazed. Granted, I was watching the game via satellite because I am in London and was up until 3am but those commercials, IDK! After that Doritos one aired which I missed I later scrambled to find it, only to realize… I HAD ALREADY SEEN IT BEFORE!!! Not sure if it was aired in the UK before the company wanted it aired in the Superbowl but that was not even fair. They are supposed to be airing new stuff not old news! Anyways, if you missed the game here are the highlights. The pile up at 3:35 was totally uncalled for, Saints had it and at 4:30 witness greatness.

Here is the opening for one of the best games I have seen played so far with Jay-Z and Rihanna on Run This Town alongside Es Posthumus. Much better than The Who’s halftime show. By the way, did they dress themselves?

I have realized my online portfolio has become massive and there is still more to add with all of the new work I have done so far in the past year or so that I still have yet to put up. Because of its massive size and the fact that its stretched over so many categories (Painting, Illustration, Graphic Design) I will be moving my portfolio to a new website all together, keeping it separate from CheckTheMentality.com. Also, note that because I am/have submitted the URL of my portfolio for college transfers that the portfolio will be getting my utmost attention from anywhere between two weeks and a month before I turn back to maintaining this website. Reason for this being I have already submitted a portfolio URL some places and need to work quickly.  The listing for my network of websites will be:

In News headlines there was a little boy who held up two other kids with a toy gun.. while on his scooter! C’mon now. But this other one will have you saying WTF – a Florida teen held up a 7-11 with his fingers in the form of a gun. You know like when you were a kid playing Cops & Robbers? Yeah, he did that AND got away with robbing the place!!! Either that boy is a genius or that guy behind the counter is slow in the membrane. The most random headline I have heard.. Cancun closed down their beach because of stolen sand! Haha I’m DONE with these headlines now.

In Music news, has anyone not heard Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon get ethered by Eminem?! Was I the only one impressed? Em has not sound that good since his sophmore album in my opinion. Nick’s poor excuse to a comeback was to resorting to twitter! That truly made me LOL. Next Drake has suffered a crazy injury after a performance last night in New Jersey. Dude already had a torn ACL and went on to perform despite doctor’s orders. Would have been fine had he not attempted a spin on stage causing him to collapse on stage.. Ah no we don’t need Drake to go Jimmy on us. Degrassi was your past! Besides that, Diddy in some way knows he is not as good as Drake or Jay-Z. He has pushed back his album Last Train to Paris claiming it’s “Jay-Z and Drake time”. C’mon admit it already – you are not a rapper Sean Combs! Please.. just spare us all. PLEASE?
