Supra is celebrating Cinco de Mayo by unveiling the “Cinco de Drinko” Skytop II. “White full grain leather construction wrapped up tight in Mexican zarape uppers, only 200 pairs have been produced..” I like them because the textiles remind me of my family in Central America. If I was older and out of school foreverrr, then I could afford to take the trip to LA just for these!! Oh well, classes in London wrap up in about two weeks.  Anyways, these will be released excusively at noon on May 5, at Factory 413 in Los Angeles.

Doc’s gone to town, ’round his back, through the hoop, then you scream “Touchdown!” You be illin’.

The Air Jordan II Retro has come back to its original colorway in White/Black/Varsity Red. I’ve seen these first hand thanks to an international student/part-time stylist at my school and I like them! These are not going to be available to those in the USA until later this month. This original colorway is also the same colorway of the Air Jordan II that Jordan wore when he averaged 37.1 points per game as a second year player with the Chicago Bulls. They are now available in Japan at Chapter Express.

It’s like I don’t know you anymore.

Nike has just released the Blazer AC in 3M. What does that mean? Well in a different light, the 3M reflective material makes the sneaker appear as a whole different one as the side of it takes on a new color while the heel, toe, velcro straps and the Nike straps remain the same.

Personally love this sneaker. I can already picture it with slacks and an oversized v-neck with a pendant hanging from a long gold chain and perhaps a straw fedora hat too. You know, in the summer or once spring finally kicks in. Whichever is first. Unless you are one of the lucky ones to reside in warm weather year round and get to indulge in these looks earlier than the Northeastern folk like myself. Oh yeah and it would help if my feet were not so tiny that they belong in the kid section.

Thinking I’m all seeing things and whatnot!

This 2009 “Future Sole” Edition of Air Jordan 1 Retro Highs are the result of the 2009 Nike Future Sole Design Competition and what inspired the title of this post. What fooled me was that I read the colorway was white, black and red before seeing them. Next thing I know when the pic comes up, I am adjusting the screen on my laptop for several minutes thinking it is to blame for me seeing a cream tone on these Jordans!! Seriously a WTF moment between my laptop and I. Turns out, the upper IS white. Reflective material was just added to the upper’s overlays to give it that look. These are not hitting retail stores though. You will have to dig through your sneaker connects far and wide to get ahold of these. To view these beauties click here.

Now I’m going all out, kid.

If anything a true sneakerhead can recognize another without hesitation. A self-proclaimed one on the other hand might try to hate hard because their game is never and will never be on point like an OG sneaker connoisseur… EVER! This brings us to Kid Cudi whose style is fresh and clean. Nothing oversized. No ridiculous chains the size of some people’s faces. Scruffy is just not in the boy’s voacabulary to sum it up. With this Complex magazine has put together a photo essay documenting Cudi’s top footwear moments. To view this collective, click here.
