¡Que viva España – la furia roja! R.I.P. to la naranja mecánica
Jul12
Congrats go out to Spain! The video above is a short and sweet highlight clip of the game and postgame when Iker Casillas kisses his reporter girlfriend. Hmm he was over-the-top emotional on the field with that crying so who can blame him?
And I have a couple of friends there (some who study there, others who are from and live there) and two in the Netherlands (plus one Dutch friend who WENT to the final game in Johannesburg too grrr!) who told me it was nuts all around!! Barcelona and Madrid went crazy and “orange fever” caught the best of Amsterdam. Sounded so amazing from their descriptions. JEALOUS! But even though Holland lost, can’t they just roll one up and smoke in Amsterdam? Haha.
Anywho the game was not as intense as I hoped. From the first 15 minutes I immediately thought that it would go into penalty kicks because neither team was trying to lose with their hardcore defense, especially Holland!! They had the best defense in this World Cup in my opinion. Anyways. It is all wrapped up and now onto some English futbol to keep me entertained until national teams start playing again. First game – Italy v. Ivory Coast in October in London. Too far away!
If you get it then you just might not know what to do with it cuz it might just come back on you ten-fold

Congrats go out to the Los Angeles Lakers – you have a fanbase full of dumbasses. Now, let’s not get into what happened last night with Boston but remain in awe at the stupidity of Lakers “fans”. Niceee!
Look! No hands baby

I’m unsure as to what Marc Jacobs has not gotten his hands on to design now. Hmm maybe Vodka? I know that Roberto Cavalli is the only designer to do that one so far… Anyways, Jacobs just designed this “Hands” skateboard deck with an all-over graphic on one side and his label’s signature on the other. It is exclusively available at Marc by Marc Jacobs stores and looks even lovelier in person. Trust.

My team about green Rondo, roger that?

I hope if your down with the Celts, you peeped this beforehand! Haha. My friend was supposed to go for me today, but since it’s limited to one per person, he just got shiet for himself. GREEDY MUTHER. There is always Tuesday…
Around the world so many times, I got my own atmosphere

10 days until the 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa!!! I am too damn amped haha. Anyways, I came across this custom-made Louis Vuitton travel case made for the FIFA World Cup trophy today and it’s awesome.
Commissioned by FIFA, the special order case, handmade by a single master craftsman in Louis Vuitton’s historic Asnières workshop near Paris, has been meticulously designed to accommodate the celebrated Trophy, which measures 36 cm in height, weighs 6.175 kg and is made of solid 18-carat gold with a base of semi-precious malachite. Covered in Louis Vuitton’s iconic Monogram canvas, the travel case is fitted with the company’s signature brass lock and corners, and has a dark brown lining that complements the Trophy’s rich gold.
Like all Louis Vuitton special orders, the FIFA World Cup Trophy case was made at the company’s original workshop in Asnières, which opened in 1859. The case opens at the front and at the top to allow the Trophy to be removed easily when, at the final on 11th July in Johannesburg, watched by many millions of people across the globe, it will be presented.
It’s so precious. The handcrafting is remarkable. Whichever team wins is too priviliged to get this case in my opinion. Okay, I am just jealous but it is amazing no?
