KID SISTER! ♥ The video for “Big N’ Bad” just dropped from director Rik Cordero and I couldn’t be happier!! Just because it’s Kid Sister and I’ve been following her for years… think back to early Myspace days. Yep, that long.

Big Sean just dropped the official video for What U Doin’ (Bullshittin) on his YouTube channel three hours ago but for whatever reason it was taken down by Universal on behalf of Def Jam. Whatever. This video makes me wonder why his album taking so long to come out!?!?!?! Clearly it doesn’t need the extra time with even his freestyles getting millions of views at this point.

Congrats go out to Spain! The video above is a short and sweet highlight clip of the game and postgame when Iker Casillas kisses his reporter girlfriend. Hmm he was over-the-top emotional on the field with that crying so who can blame him?

And I have a couple of friends there (some who study there, others who are from and live there) and two in the Netherlands (plus one Dutch friend who WENT to the final game in Johannesburg too grrr!) who told me it was nuts all around!! Barcelona and Madrid went crazy and “orange fever” caught the best of Amsterdam. Sounded so amazing from their descriptions. JEALOUS! But even though Holland lost, can’t they just roll one up and smoke in Amsterdam? Haha.

Anywho the game was not as intense as I hoped. From the first 15 minutes I immediately thought that it would go into penalty kicks because neither team was trying to lose with their hardcore defense, especially Holland!! They had the best defense in this World Cup in my opinion. Anyways. It is all wrapped up and now onto some English futbol to keep me entertained until national teams start playing again. First game – Italy v. Ivory Coast in October in London. Too far away!

I’m not an avid Chris Brown fan but even last year when Michael Jackson passed and BET went ahead with barring him from performing a tribute to him with instead creating one of the most bs shows of all time that was poorly put together, I was upset. He was the only one who could have done it right. In the end the entire BET awards came out a big eff up on their part because of them scrambling to put something together in time. Now I am happy because maybe the year off from major award shows was necessary for Chris Brown to put together THIS tribute that blew away every other one combined!

N.E.R.D. just released their video for their single “Hot N Fun” featuring Nelly Furtado off of their upcoming fourth album, entitled Nothing to be released in early September. I like it and Nelly Furtado reminds me of Jenny from Forrest Gump! You know, the part when Forrest sees her for the first time in a long time as he’s giving a speech about Vietnam in D.C. and she’s a total hippie – a.k.a. this part.

Congrats go out to the Los Angeles Lakers – you have a fanbase full of dumbasses. Now, let’s not get into what happened last night with Boston but remain in awe at the stupidity of Lakers “fans”. Niceee!

This video was directed by T.J. Regan for Wiz Khalifa‘s single “Up” off of his Kush & Orange Juice mixtape. I’m unsure what it is about this song but it’s so smooth one can’t help but like it.

YES! DJ Earworm does it again with a summer mash up that is still on the level of amazingness of his 2009 year round up, “United State of Pop“. This one does have a lot more UK based artists though because it was created for a radio station’s summer concert. I recognize the songs and such having lived in London for the past year, but if you are from the U.S. or someplace else it might be hard to place your finger on the videos and artists.

Big Sean just released this single “High Rise” produced by Don Cannon set to come off of his upcoming Finally Famous Vol. III mixtape dropping sometime soon. However, his debut album was originally slated for March then got delayed and pushed back to later this year but with producers like Dr. Dre, Pharrell and Mike Posner plus features like Mr. Hudson, Drake and Kanye… I can wait for it.
